who it is for

Who it is for

Anyone currently receiving ketamine from a prescriber. Infusions, injections, nasal spray, at home sublingual. You can join the week you start or halfway through a series. You do not need to already be in therapy and you do not need to change anything about your treatment.

why it exists

Why it exists

Your prescriber manages the medicine. That is their job. What comes up during and after a session is usually left to you, and most people handle it alone. This group is for that part.

the eight weeks

The eight weeks

  1. What the group is, and where each person is in their treatment.
  2. What the medicine does and does not do. Expectations and safety. The group closes after this session.
  3. Putting a session into words without turning it into a tidy story.
  4. Which part of you took the medicine, and which part shows up afterward.
  5. What stayed in the body once the dissociation lifted.
  6. What treatment is doing to your relationships.
  7. The dip, and deciding whether to continue.
  8. Carrying it without the group.

what is expected of you

What is expected of you

You attend. From week three, every session opens with each member naming what they took into the week and what happened when they went to do it. Not following through is useful information rather than a failure, but this is not a group you can sit quietly in for eight weeks.

what this is not

What this is not

No medicine is given and no dosing happens in group. This does not replace your prescriber or your individual therapist. It is not a lecture and it is not a drop in circle.

cost

Cost

$650 for all eight sessions, paid in full before the first. No payment plans, no sliding scale. A superbill is available for out of network reimbursement, though I cannot promise your plan will accept it.

not ready for eight weeks

Not ready for eight weeks

questions

The group, answered

Do I need to already be in therapy?

No.

Does my prescriber need to approve this?

No, and I do not contact them without your written consent.

Can I join in the middle of a series?

Yes, up until the group closes after week two.

What if I miss a week?

Sessions are not made up or refunded. More than two absences makes the group hard to hold.

Is it confidential?

I am bound by confidentiality. Other members agree to it but are not bound the same way, and I say that plainly in session one.

Is ketamine given during group?

No. No medicine is provided and no dosing happens in session.

Broader questions about fees, telehealth and how I practice are answered on the FAQ page.
